Weekend Shopping Kitchen Gift Guide for Mom

Hi friend! I’m so glad you are here and I hope to share some gift ideas you can give your mom for Mother’s Day! I’m sharing gifts that I would enjoy having.

As a mom of three adult children and a daughter of a mom who has been in the mothering business for over 70 years, I understand from both sides how hard it can be to think of ideas to give to moms of all ages.

So I thought hard about the things I would like to have and things my own mom would enjoy. I also thought of gifts that my daughters and daughter-in-law would like for Mother’s Day.

I’m willing to bet that you and I are pretty similar in that we are practical kind of people. I like to receive gifts that are useful and inexpensive. Plus, I like to give gifts that will be used on a regular basis. Do you?

Last week, I shared all sorts of gardening gift ideas that any mom who loves the outdoors would enjoy. This week, I’m sharing ideas for the mom who loves to have pretty things in the kitchen.

It would be a great idea to group some of these items together like the cloth napkins and dinnerware sets. Or you could group the apron (there are more options in the gift guide from last week), the cute heart-shaped Dutch oven, and the immersion blender along with the printout of my recipe for Butternut Squash Soup!!

Personal Blender 12-Piece Set Under $30

If your mom loves a good smoothie made with homemade yogurt for breakfast or as a healthy snack, this 12-piece blender set is the one she will love! It’s stylish and it looks so similar to the very expensive Smeg appliances but at a fraction of the cost! It comes in so many cool colors too! A soft blue, sage green, and even lavender! More colors are listed so you can get the color your mom would love!

Reusable Tumbler with Straw Under $20

Have you seen the 40oz Stanley Tumblers that are so outrageously priced?? Some of them are almost $70! That is crazy! This 40 oz tumbler is under $20 and it looks the same as the Stanley to me. Mom will stay hydrated throughout her day with this tumbler!

Electric Gooseneck Kettle Under $30

I love the whole line of kitchen items that Drew Barrymore created. They are all stylish and have a vintage flair to them. This 1-liter electric gooseneck kettle is so adorable, I wouldn’t mind leaving it out on the counter. It comes in a variety of pretty colors too. If your mom likes hot tea or if she uses a French Press coffee maker, then she will love this kettle. It could also be used to make iced tea for the summer! Grab some boxes of flavored tea to give to your mom with this kettle!

6 Quart Air Fryer Under $70

My mom who is over 85 LOVES her air fryer! She cooks her dinner in it almost every night. Many times she has told me that it is so easy to cook meats and veggies. And she raves about how easy it is to clean! We have an air fryer too and I use it often. My favorite thing to cook in the air fryer is frozen veggies. It roasts them just like an oven without heating the whole kitchen!

2 Slice Toaster with Touch Display Under $40

This is seriously a pretty toaster! It comes in the same colors as the other small appliances I mentioned earlier so getting all of the pieces to match would look amazing in a kitchen! If your mom enjoys a homemade breakfast, then this toaster will come in handy!

Immersion Blender & Chopper Set Under $33

I make a smoothie almost every morning for breakfast and I use my immersion blender to make it. This particular immersion blender set comes with a whisk (great for making scrambled eggs!), a chopper, and a measuring cup. It’s an all-in-one kind of gift that any mom would love!

16 Cup Hot Air Electric Popcorn Maker Under $35

My hubby and I make popcorn at least four times a week! We love it, especially with my homemade butter poured over it! This 16-cup popcorn maker would be great in our kitchen! If the mom in your life has littles, they will enjoy it as well, and clean up will be easy for mom!

Cloth Napkin Sets Under $25

We have used cloth napkins for almost our whole 41 years of marriage. It’s not that we are fancy schmancy, I’m just cheap and I don’t like to buy paper napkins over and over again. Having a new set of cloth napkins is always a treat. Having Flax Linen Cloth Napkins with lace trim would make me feel fancy! All cotton hemstitched napkins are very nice to have too!

Kitchen Apron and Towels Under $20

Along with a fresh set of cloth napkins, fresh kitchen towels are one of the simple joys in life! My Texas House has some beautiful kitchen towels including this 16″x 28″ 3-piece Blue set and this 16″ x 28″ textured neutral 4-piece set. My Texas House also has this pretty blue 3-piece apron and pot holder set that any cook would love to have!

Heart Shaped Cast Iron Dutch Oven Under $40

Every mom needs a good cast iron Dutch oven! And this is the cutest heart-shaped Dutch oven the planet! The color is pink champagne and I am sure the lady of the house will love cooking a big pot of soup or roasting a chicken in this adorable Dutch oven! She will think of you every time she uses it! ♥️

Thyme and Table Dinnerware Sets Under $55

Extra dishes are always nice to have for those occasions when you have more people at a gathering. That is the kind of situation that lots of moms run into! So I have found two sets that would be nice to have. Both sets are from the Thyme and Table collection at Walmart and are reasonably priced. This black and white dot 12-piece set would coordinate with just about any other dinnerware. And this Thyme and Table Blue Medallion 12-piece set is so pretty I couldn’t help but drool over it!
