The summer has been a good one.

We’ve enjoyed watching the first couple of months of our daughter and son-in-law’s marriage. They married in May in our backyard and it was amazing.

Hubby finished his eighth year as a teacher. It really feels like only one year ago, he retired as a police officer. That career came to a close after 28 years. Unbelievable! Teaching has been a nice change for him 🙂

We have had many trips to visit our son, his wife, and our new grandson. He is such a joy! And we are proud of the parents those two are becoming.

Our other daughter got engaged to an amazing man! We are beyond thrilled. Each day, it is evident they were made for each other.

We have finished so many projects – many I haven’t been able to share here on the blog. Custom work has been steady for our business since April 2020.

We gave our laundry room and pantry area a nice makeover. It really needed it!

This summer, I was able to attend a blogging conference called Haven. I’ve spoken about the conference in a previous post so I won’t go into here. Now it is time to implement all that I learned. Whew – it’s a lot!

I did a little shopping for the conference and I found some adorable and comfy dresses. They are so comfortable – they feel like my favorite worn T-shirt but look so pretty!

Here are a couple of my faves. You won’t believe the sales on these gorgeous dresses because it is late in the season!

We were able to finish some fun projects this week on the blog. I think you will enjoy them!

Here are some fun projects I found around the web this week:

How to Make a Fall Wreath

Easy DIY Muted Fall Foilage

How to Decorate a Front Porch for Fall

How to Make Peach Crumble

And here are a couple more fall projects you will love!:

Easy Homemade Chicken Stock

Easy Homemade Chicken Soup

Thrifted Sweater Pumpkins

That’s it for today! Hope you have a great weekend!

Until next time….
