Weekend Shopping for Valentine’s Day
Hi Friend! I hope you are having a nice weekend! Thanks for taking the time to join me here today.
Hopefully, you will find some Valentine’s Day gifts you can give to those in your life who need a little love!
me and my sweet hubby
We’ve been married for 40 years! I can hardly believe it. Almost 41 years of Valentine’s Day gifts!
We keep Valentine’s gift-giving simple now. In fact, we consider our grandkids as recipients of Valentine’s gifts too!
I’ve gathered a couple of gift ideas later in this post. They are simple and inexpensive and best of all, can arrive before Valentine’s Day, which is only a few days away!
printables for Valentine’s Day
In case you missed it, I have a freebie library packed with printables for Valentine’s Day. Cards, hearts and printable artwork made just for you!
You’ll find them in the winter folders in the Printable Art and Greeting Cards on the download page of the library. The library page is password-protected so head back to your email for the password! I share the password in each email 🙂
shop with me
Here are some simple ideas I’ve come up with for you. I’m not a huge shopper but I like to grab useful gifts for those in my life that I love.
That can be anyone: your mom, your dad, your spouse and kids, your grandkids, your neighbor who is alone, your best girlfriend, or another special person you have in your life.
Faux tulips, hand cream, candles, handmade soap, special chocolates, and books will all show that special person that you care.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to show someone that you care for them. A little gift goes a long way in showing your affection for them!
The items I found are all from Amazon so if you order soon they will arrive on time for giving on Wednesday, February 14!
I have all of these items in our home and have used them. Except for the goat’s milk soap. I make my own. But knowing time is short, I looked for some soap that had great reviews and would arrive in time!

gifts under $20ish
Most items are under $20, and a couple are between $25-$30. Budget-friendly gift-giving is the best!

Cindy has been decorating her home with thrift store finds for 40 years. She is an avid thrift store shopper who loves to makeover the items she finds into vintage-inspired home decor and furniture. When she isn’t thrift shopping or painting a piece of furniture, you can find her making homemade butter, working in her garden, or painting with watercolors.
I started following you when I lived in Lancaster PA and have recently moved to Lewes Deleware. Would love it if you could give me some tips on where I can find some good thrift shops in this area!
Hi Patti! Sussex County has some great spots for thrift shopping. I find some great ones over on the west side of the state. You will have to take a day and head over to the other side of Delaware. I’ve shared some of those places in several YouTube videos. Here is a link to one of them: https://youtu.be/IkgKOkRauXg
So many fun Valentine’s Day ideas Cindy and Happy Anniversary!
