Nine Amazing Vintage Washstand Makeovers

There are so many gorgeous vintage washstands in this world, how on earth could I just talk about nine of them! We’ll keep it simple today and just highlight a few of these amazing pieces of furniture!

We are starting off with some of the antique and vintage washstands I have had the privilege of working on over the last few years.

two-tone washstand

This sweet little antique washstand was sitting in a little shop for only $30. The marble top was missing but of course, with a carpenter hubby like I have, that isn’t a problem 😉

You can read about this sweet antique washstand HERE.

Now, I love washstands of all kinds but I must admit, I don’t love orange-toned washstands.

This vintage oak washstand was orange beyond what I have ever seen. You can see the before by clicking HERE.

This adorable washstand was purchased along with another washstand – yes, I bought two vintage washstands at the same time!

The top was broken on this one so we got it for a great deal. Hubby loves building tops for these washstands. He needs to open a shop specializing in washstand tops 😉

A washstand for under $20?? It was such a deal too! Solid oak, no repairs were needed and it was only slightly dirty! Although I don’t believe it is an antique washstand, for 20 bucks I couldn’t pass it up!

All this piece needed was a little love and paint. With the lines of the piece being so simple, I thought that a nice denim-look finish would be perfect.

Jeans??? Am I talking about jeans today?? Well, not exactly. Today I am sharing a furniture painting idea that has the look of a comfy pair of jeans! #custompaintedfurniture #diyfurniture #refinishedfurniture

Layla’s Mint vintage washstand

One of our customers contacted me and said she had a little washstand that needed our special touch. And of course, we obliged her request!

Isn’t this washstand a cutie? Our client chose this soft color to go with the room she would use it in. You can see the full story by clicking HERE.
