All Things Vintage #4

Happy Easter Weekend! I hope that you are able to gather with family and friends as you are able. It’s been a tough year of not having gatherings and I am hopeful you can find a way to be with those you love.

This Easter weekend we are spending with one of our daughter’s and her fiance. They will be getting married in our backyard in just a few weeks (May 15) and there is so much to do!

this week’s workshop news

This week in the workshop, I finished up the dining table. We delivered the table and our clients were thrilled. I am glad to have a little space back in my workshop!

We were also able to begin a super fun project! Here is a little sneak peak:

You must be wondering, “What in the world is a desk chair??”

Don’t worry, photos are being taken for a full story and blog post about this pair of beauties!

this week’s inspiration

I thought I would share a different kind of inspiration this week.

Each morning for the last couple-three years, I have been going outside first thing (after my first cup of coffee of course!) in the morning to find something of beauty.

I snap a quick image and share it on my Instagram stories.

It’s been a great way to start my day. Deliberately looking for something beautiful helps to set my mind and my heart in a good place.

My followers have enjoyed the images as well :). There are beautiful blessings all around us, sometimes we just have to open our eyes, be quiet and look beyond what you see at first glance.

this week on the web

Here is a fun option to an Easter Basket! And it’s so quick you could throw it together with grocery store items!
