All Things Vintage #11

Thanks for joining me today for this bi-weekly All Things Vintage post! I will be switching back and forth between this roundup style of post and a recipe post. I hope you enjoy it!

Fall Recipes

The idea of including recipes has been on my mind for a while. I have posted recipes in the past like this Friday Night Homemade Pizza recipe that we have used for years and this Chicken Soup recipe that has nursed many sick children over the years.

Simply click the images below to see the post!

But I just haven’t consistently posted recipes. You see, I’m not a huge cook. Mostly because I am not a fan of planning and grocery shopping. If the food is in the house, then I cook it! Please don’t make me plan or shop!!

We do have some favorite recipes that we have used over and over again and I want to share those with you. I also came across a first edition 1933 Good Housekeeping Cook Book. There are some recipes I thought might be good to try out. We’ll see how that goes 🙂

Anyway, here is a recipe that is one of our favorites, and since fall is right around the corner, I thought you might enjoy it too!! Butternut Squash Soup is a smooth soup that is mild and oh so comforting on a chilly day. You can make a double batch and freeze it too!

  1. Thanks so much for sharing my Indian corn wreath. It’s easy fast and so pretty.

Pinned your stock recipe from a rotisserie chicken. Genius!

This post made me smile. I, too, dislike the planning that goes into a meal! Luckily for me, my husband loves to grocery shop. I loved all the Fall into here, and thank you for sharing my mini pumpkins with succulents! Have a great weekend. 🙂
