All Things Vintage

Our spring cutting garden is growing! These little signs of life fill me with hope and excitement. Soon, blooms will be on these little Zinnias and I’ll be making fresh bouquets!

Have you planted a cutting garden? This is my first official cutting garden and I’m enjoying it already! Grab a pack of seeds and plant a garden for yourself!

in the workshop

We’ve been busy in the workshop and here on the blog. Some of my blogging buddies (8 to be exact!) and I joined up to share some of the best upcycling projects on the planet!

Ok, maybe that’s a bit extreme, but I am sure you will love the ideas and inspiration we bring to the internet!

Also, we gathered three trash to treasure projects and put them all in one post for you! There is a YouTube video too! It’s a little farther down in this post.

If you are on my email list, then you will remember that I asked you a couple of weeks ago if you wanted to see more of our home and how we decorate with vintage and repurposed home decor. So many of you emailed me back (thank you everyone for responding!! It really made my day!)

Easy Decor Ideas with Ironstone shows you how I am currently using some of our collected ironstone pieces to decorate our dining room. You’ll also read about how my collection started – over 35 years ago!

You will love this wood toolbox transformation too! These wood toolboxes are some of my favorite pieces to reinvent.

Here is a quick video of the Trash to Treasure projects from this week. I hope you enjoy watching it! Feel free to subscribe to my channel while you are there!

We also shared a Facebook Live showing our space in Wilderlove Handmade and Vintage. The shop is having an outdoor market this weekend and I wanted to tell the locals about it. I hope you enjoy this little tour of our spot!

this weeks podcast

Even though Easter has passed, I think you will enjoy this episode of the Captivated Podcast.

She talks about overcoming during and through the difficult issues and times in our lives and through her discussion, I was reminded that there is hope, there is One who has overcome.

She also reminded me of this special scripture:

Psalms 56:8 (NLT) — You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

I hope you find hope and encouragement as you listen to Stasi’s words of wisdom. Click the image above to listen.

one for the road

Here is one last post for you. This is a special one.

This church pew has probably been sat in by so many who have looked for encouragement and hope. So many have probably sat in this pew and cried tears, prayed hard, and lifted their hands to their Maker in humble submission.

You can read the post HERE.

Have a great weekend my friend!🥰

Until next time…
