Weekend Shopping Outdoor Rugs for Summer
Hi friend! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! In this post, I’ll be sharing my latest thrift store makeover, our backyard patio refresh, some gorgeous outdoor rugs, and a recent YouTube video further down in the post.
growing hostas
Our hostas are loving their lives right now! I have pots and pots of them on our back patio and on our front porch.
I’m collecting as many different types as possible in the back section of our yard. I think I have around 15 different types so far.
Do you love hostas? They are one of my favorite plants to grow, divide every few years, and share with a friend.
If you can, get some hostas for your yard and plant them in a shady area. 🍃They will bless you for years to come!

A couple of weeks ago, we updated our back patio. We pressure-washed the patio, got new potted plants, and even got a new sun shade sail to give us additional shade for this hot area!
Now I am on the hunt to replace the rug! I currently have a round blue and white rug similar to the deep blue rug you see in the graphic below. You will see the rug in the video I have linked further down in this post.
I’m tossing the idea of layering a neutral rug underneath it or getting a whole new rug. Let me what you think I should do.
You can also shop for a rug for your outdoor space. This is a great way to update a patio, deck, or front porch. Many of these come in round (my fave!), square, and rectangles. You can even get them in runner sizes! My front porch needs a new runner now that I think of it 😂
