DIY Christmas Decorating Ideas from Pinterest

Are you like me who has a love for Pinterest?? I love that I can use Pinterest on my phone to search for inspiration for any kind of project imaginable, including DIY Christmas decorating ideas- all in the palm of my hand!!

Pinterest Inspiration

Can you remember when Pinterest first started? It was around 2010 and I was two years into my photography career. Yes, I had another business before Reinvented Delaware! Families, weddings, newborns, and high school seniors was my focus 😉 – did you catch that little play on words? All the laughs right here my friend 😉

Anyway, back to Pinterest. I used the amazing new website to create mood boards for my photography clients. As a result, we could share ideas about the kind of look they were going for. They could pin ideas and I could add to those pins with similar ideas. As a result, we were on the same page when the photo day came!

Today, I am still using Pinterest for inspiration. I’m just wanting to be inspired and share inspiration for a different topic!

That leads me to today’s post! The search is on for some new ideas for the chair spindles I have collected. And I am specifically looking for DIY Christmas decorating ideas.

Spindles Galore!

We have used spindles for lots of our past projects and they are still one of my favorite pieces to work with. Take a look at some of our past spindle projects:

Picket Crates with Spindle Handles

Repurposed Frame Chalkboards with Spindle Chalk Holders

Mini Picket Crates with Spindle Details

We even used tiny spindles from a Jenny Lind changing table as icicle Christmas tree ornaments! Sorry, I can’t find a picture of them now – they were so cute and sold very quickly!
