Thanksgiving

How was your Thanksgiving? I hope however you spent it, you had time to experience a grateful heart.

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday with our children, their spouses and significant others, our grandbaby, and our soon-to-be teen grandson! It was a wonderful time of eating, laughter, Monopoly playing, and being together.

This momma’s heart was full and blessed beyond words! šŸ„°

good morning stories on Instagram

Last Sunday, we went for our usual 4-mile walk at the local state park. The day was crisp and sunny and just beautiful!

We came across this path and I couldn’t resist snapping a photo and sharing it on my Good Morning Instagram Stories on Monday morning.

in the workshop

The workshop has been busy with activity! Paper mache stars and handmade orange slice ornaments for your Christmas decor and Christmas tree were in the spotlight this week. Both are easy and fun to make and I know you will enjoy the posts!

A list of amazing home decor books and hand-stenciled tote bags rounded out the week. Either one of these projects (well, the books aren’t really projects!) are great gift ideas! You could even make the tote bag and use it to ‘wrap’ the stack of books you give to someone!

on my bookshelf

This week, I shared some amazing home decor books in a blog post and in a YouTube video. I’ve been jumping from book to book because they are all so amazing, and this is the one I have looked at most recently.

Marian Parsons has this book filled with inspiration to help you to fill your home with the things you love and to bring character to a newer home. This is a must-read!! You will enjoy the words she has penned and the beautiful photography she has captured.

BTW, books make amazing gifts too! Click the button below to see all of the gorgeous home decor books I have gathered for you! They would make great gifts too!
