Weekend Shopping Vintage Inspired Mirrors
Hi friend! Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll be sharing recent projects we’ve been working on, one that we are very busy working on, and some vintage mirror shopping inspiration for you!
But first, any guesses about the big project hubby and I have been working on lately? Check out the image below and then guess!
We’ve spent our days and evenings working on one of our biggest projects to date! It includes old windows, an old door, pea gravel and a ton of digging!

Recently, I decided to start shopping for mirrors for our guest bedrooms. Ideally, I could have a wall full of old, thrifted mirrors that I have collected over the years. I’ll be thrift shopping for those as I continue to shop and share those videos over on YouTube with you.
In the meantime, I did some digging around on Walmart.com and found these beauties! I’ll link each one below. I’m also inspired to re-create some of the looks of these mirrors – especially the one made with what looks like an old door!

You can click on each item in the list below to shop. All the mirrors are from Walmart. The prices vary depending on the brand and size of the mirror.
- 76″ White Distressed Tall Mirror that looks like a door
- 38″ x 26″ Arched Wall Antique Style Mirror
- 16″ x 23″ White Distressed Oval Mirror
- 16″ x 23″ Farmhouse Oval Wood Mirror
- 30″ x 52″ Antique Style Mirror With Panes

Every time I read your post I realize how much we have in common. I married at 19 and have been married 40 years. Hubby and I always say the greatest test to your marriage is if you can hang wallpaper together (especially on slanted walls). Honestly, projects are probably the glue (and Jesus) to keep us married. I have 5 sisters, so I relate to other posts as well. Enjoying your YouTube channel, which I think started around the same time as mine. Cheryl @

That’s so cute what you and your hubby say about marriage and wallpaper! Jesus is our foundation too. Without Him we would not be where we are now! Thanks for sharing Cheryl! I’m off to watch your YT channel!
Cindy – First, my jaw is on the ground because I had NO IDEA Walmart offered such an amazing selection of mirrors. Of course, I love the “old door with a mirror”. Also – THANK YOU for sharing a link to my gilded mirror. It was originally made in NY City in the 1940s. My long term plan is to use it in my bathroom makeover. Love reading about all your projects and I can’t wait to see your new “old” shed!!
You are so welcome – I love sharing your amazing ideas with my readers. The shed is coming along and it’s been fun to share it over on YouTube! And even here on the blog. I finally wrote a post about it!
So excited to see how this project comes together, Cindy. No doubt it’s going to be amazing when you’re finished! Thank you so much for including my mirror in your round up this week. It’s so sweet of you. It’s definitely one of my favorite pieces and we use it all the time. Sending you big hugs and thank yous, CoCo
You are welcome CoCo! I love sharing your creativity with my readers!
