Measure your shower for the desired length. Standard shower curtains measure 72" x 72" but you can customize the length.

If needed, cut your dropcloth to size including seam allowances. Iron flat and stitch the side seams.

Fold down the top edge for the desired faux valance depth. Iron and stitch approx 1.5" from the top edge to hold in place.

Measure, mark and stitch buttonholes for curtain clips. Or create grommets with a grommet tool.

Use the steam iron to smooth out any wrinkles in the drop cloth then hang the curtain along with a shower liner.
