Guest Room Luggage Rack Makeover

Learn how to make your guest room welcoming by adding a thrift store find like an old luggage rack.

shop at your local thrift store for an old luggage rack. this one cost only $4.89!

gather your supplies: paint paintbrush upholstery webbing cleaner tack remover staple gun

removed the outdated straps

clean the wood frame with TSP cleaner. lightly sand if needed.

choose your paint color. my color coordinates with the upholstery webbing I will use as straps.

paint the frame to cover the wood.

seal the chalk paint with spray wax.

attach the upholstery webbing to replace the old straps. use a pneumatic staple gun or a manual stapler.

enjoy your new luggage rack!
