Today, I have a fun post for you! Several of my thrift shopping friends and I got together to share our favorite repurposed and upcycled thrift store makeovers.

Upcycle Glass Candle Holders

Don’t these sweet votive candle holders look like they washed up on a beach? Maryann from Domestically Speaking, shares a great technique to turn new glass into the beachy and frosted glass that is so pretty! Summer is coming and you will want to make these Frosted Glass Tealights for your upcycled coastal decor!

Repurposed Vintage Picture Frame

Gail from My Repurposed Life had such a great idea for this upcycled home decor project! Aren’t we always changing out photos of our loved ones? This old picture frame idea is a brilliant way to display and change photos easily! This Photo Display Repurposed Frame will get the job done!

Upcycled Riser DIY Project

Do I see a candle stand with a pie pan?? Omgoodness, this is the sweetest repurposed and cheap home decora idea I’ve seen in a long time! Her Candle Holder is not only adorable, it is also inexpensive to make! You won’t believe what Kathy from Petticoat Junktion paid for the pieces to make it – just a few cents!! Yay for senior citizen discounts at the thrift store!! Way to go Kathy!

Making risers are so much fun! I love to use small old wooden trays and turn them into decor risers. Such an easy thrift store makeover you can do!

Upcycled Side Table

You know I am a furniture makeover girl, right?? When I see upcycling furniture ideas, I pay attention. Then you can see why this sweet table caught my eye! Christy from Our Southern Home must love to do furniture makeovers too – this adorable side table has had two makeovers!

Upcycled Tray DIY

Do you like to corral all of the bottles, makeup brushes, and cotton ball jars into one neat and organized spot in your bathroom? Kristin from My Uncommon Life of Suburbia can help you with that – and in a very stylish way with this Tray Makeover with Peel and Stick Tiles! Upcycled projects using thirft store trays are so much fun!

Sadie from Sadie Seasongoods proves that just about anything from a thrift store can be repurposed! This Tabletop Greenhouse blew me away! This diy upcycle is not only cute it is practical! This upcycled planter is a great way to get seeds started for your garden.

Front Door Wreath Alternative Idea

In just a couple of months, you will want to put something creative for your front door decoration. What better way to do it than combining upcycled projects! Pam from House of Hawthornes has you covered with this adorable Tobacco Basket Spring Wreath! Your guests will feel so welcome!

Upcycled Plant Stand DIY

You must see the before on this Terracotta Pedestal Column to fully appreciate this upcycled planter and stand. The repurposed home decor piece is dramatic! The design Carlene from Organized Clutter created on the top couldn’t be prettier and it was so easy!

Upcycled Scrap Wood Project

You’ll never guess where Suzanne from Shop at Blue found the wood for the cutest Pumpkins she made! These adorable scrap wood projects would be easy and fun to make. This girl doesn’t waste a thing! I think we could be thrifty besties!

Cheap DIY Home Decor Project

How can I pick just one favorite upcycled home decor project from the year?? It’s kinda like they are all my little children – all being my faves!

But if I had to choose one, I think I will land on this Easy Cake Stand. The whole thing came together for under $5! Maybe that’s why I landed on this being my fave – I am the Queen of Cheap especially when a repurposed thrift store makeover turns out this nice!

    I know I’m not alone when I say we’re happy to have you on the “team”. I love all the projects you chose. My photo display was a new purpose for an old frame. I’ve never done anything like that before. You know it gets harder and harder to be the FIRST at something these days. 🙂
